In 1914, the Wilde family founded a dental company by the same name in the Rhinegau area of Germany. In the 1960s more than 500 employees produced synthetic products for dental prostheses.  Based on this experience and expertise, the founding idea for Wilde Cosmetics evolved. In 1985, Wilde Cosmetics was the very first European manufacturer to present a revolutionary light-cured synthetic resin system of light-cured products designed to seal, correct, lengthen and beautify fingernails. This resin system has found its success internationally under the brand name Light Concept Nails – LCN. This is 25 years as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of cosmetic nail products, the success and reputation of the LCN brand is based on a long history of providing exciting, innovative breakthroughs to the world of cosmetic science.


Inge Patton has been an integral part of the launch of LCN products in Germany and internationally. LCN’s foremost educator since 1985, Inge has been developing the LCN Curriculum and training Nail Technicians and Educators around the world, including Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In 1989 Inge Patton, made European LCN products available for Canadian fingertips. Today, the LCN Curriculum is offered through Authorized Distributors and Education Centres across Canada, serving Nail Technicians and Estheticians with a wide range of training options.

Wolf Hatheway, (Inge’s eldest son) along with a team of dedicated professionals operates as the Manufacturer’s Representative and Distribution Warehouse serving Western Canada from British Columbia to Manitoba, in Edmonton, Alberta. Inge & Wolf work in close partnership with Susan Keddy and her team who operate as the Manufacturer’s Representative, Distribution Warehouse & Training Center serving Ontario to Newfoundland in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
